Volunteering with Fine Feather Foundation and the Fine Feather Excelsior Program is a chance to inspire youth, gain new skills, and strengthen our community. We’ll match your availability, interests, and talents with the program or event that fits you best.

How to Become a Volunteer
Step 1 – Submit the Volunteer Interest Form
Tell us how you’d like to serve! Once submitted, our team will connect with you by email.
Step 2 – Complete Your Pennsylvania Clearances
Because we work with youth, all volunteers are required to complete three state-mandated clearances. When you fill out our form, we will email you the clearance form links directly to you.
Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check
FBI Fingerprinting (if not a PA resident for the past 10 years)
Step 3 – Attend Orientation
After clearances are approved, volunteers will receive an orientation date and details for their assigned program.
