Our Mission
Revolutionizing youth mental health through innovative art-based initiatives, education, and mentorship that empower at-risk youth and their families. We serve children and teens in Pennsylvania, Jamaica, Nigeria, and Liberia by helping them explore their potential, build confidence, and develop the skills to thrive in school and life.
For some, it begins with an idea. For others, it begins with a calling.
Founders Andrene Brown and Stacey Newman created Fine Feather Foundation with a shared commitment to protecting and uplifting youth. Shaped by their own lived experiences, they understand the realities many children face and chose to turn that experience into purpose.
Fine Feather Foundation was established to provide support, guidance, and opportunity to at-risk youth, with a focus on prevention, empowerment, and long-term impact. At its core, the organization is dedicated to creating safe spaces where young people can grow, heal, and thrive.
They believe early intervention is critical to building a stronger, healthier future for the next generation.
Programs That Meet Youth, Where They Are.
Fine Feather Foundation delivers five core youth-centered programs that integrate arts, academics, mental health support, and entrepreneurship.
These programs include the Excelsior After-School Program, KINDRED, Far From Fatherless, the Technology Tools Giveaway, and the Generational Wealth Academy.

Since our founding, Fine Feather Foundation has impacted over 1,278 youth and 1,108 families across Allentown and the Lehigh Valley.
Through programs like Excelsior, SHE, Far From Fatherless, Generational Wealth Academy, and community partnerships such as Monday Funday, we provide consistent access to mentorship, creative expression, and leadership development opportunities.
