Excelsior Programs

The Excelsior Program is Fine Feather Foundation’s flagship initiative, offering both after-school programming and a summer camp experience designed to support youth year-round. Through a combination of academic support, creative arts, mentorship, and enrichment activities, the program provides a structured and engaging environment where students can build confidence, strengthen skills, and stay connected to positive influences beyond the classroom.

  • The Excelsior After-School Program provides a safe, structured environment for youth ages 7–17 during critical after-school hours. Offered multiple days each week, the program combines academic support, creative arts, and mentorship through activities such as music production, dance, theater, podcasting, and tutoring. Led by trained instructors, it also incorporates peer counseling, mental health support, and enrichment opportunities designed to help students build confidence, develop their talents, and stay engaged in a positive, supportive setting.

  • The Excelsior Summer Camp is an 8-week immersive arts and enrichment experience that keeps youth engaged, inspired, and learning throughout the summer. The program blends creative disciplines such as music, film production, visual arts, dance, and theater with hands-on activities, weekly field trips, and outdoor experiences. Designed to be both fun and developmental, the camp provides students with opportunities to explore new interests, strengthen existing skills, and build lasting connections in a dynamic and supportive environment.
